What is better PCMCIA or USB wireless dongle?

A xp laptop need a wireless attachment. Have tried a micronet usb but it cant see the hub in the house but other peoples computers can, even when put side by side (have tried updated drivers etc) Will be taking back just wondering if to exchange for a pcmcia version?

1. USB dongle can be exchanged between multiple laptops/computers, they are much more portable and virtually all computers nowadays have USB port. PCMCIA port have higher performance, however wireless connection does not need that much performance anyway. One advantage might be that PCMCIA card is less intruding, as most of the card is located inside the laptop. In general, USB is much better
